The Concept
In these austere times finding quality CPD for the dental team can be an exhaustive and expensive process. Without doubt there are many companies out there that will deliver good CPD at your practice but core CPD can be hard to source. I aim to deliver high quality CPD in practice covering core areas such as COMPLAINT HANDLING, ETHICS and ETHICAL DILEMMAS and various LEGAL MATTERS to you and your staff, in your practice, at very competitive rates
Why Bother?
The General Dental Council requires all registrants to complete verifiable CPD in a five year cycle. The GDC recommend CPD in various areas and some of these can be hard to source. Many courses are run by professional companies and quite possibly your local Deanery. These invariably require staff to be absent from the workplace or take place during their free time, something which many seem reluctant to do.
By attending your practice I aim to deliver this valuable CPD in an environment your staff are secure and happy in, and in so doing, you can be assured that your staff are complying with the requirements that registration brings.
This training is for the whole team and includes administrative staff such as managers or receptionists. Whilst they have no requirement to complete CPD it is important that all members of your team are conversant with how to deal with everyday problems, freeing your valuable time to allow you to do what you do best, treat patients, safe in the knowledge that your staff can deal with day to day issues in their stride.
